I got the following from J D Tone. It is a little different version than what Glen gave me. I'll post both and let them fight it out as to who is more accurate ;-).
J.D. ---"the Young car was not built by Gordon Hoyt. He was one of the many owners. It was a magazine car that was built by the Reed Bros I think, probably wrong on that. The Kugals campaigned it before Hoyt. I do not remember who before him...I believe it started with a cammer Ford".
